Research focus: Bioaerosols, the air quality of various working environment and the respiratory health of the workers and animals. Using tools of molecular biology, we have been able to characterize the microbial flora (culturable and non culturable bacteria, human pathogens, antibiotic resistant genes) present in bioaerosols of pig farms. We were the first to show the presence of Archaea in the bioaerosols of pig farms.
