CRIPA welcomes eleven new collaborators from CReSA to strengthen its animal health research activities

Saint-Hyacinthe, August 30, 2024 – The Swine and Poultry Infectious Diseases Research Center (CRIPA) is proud to announce the arrival of eleven new collaborators from Spain from the CReSA (Centre de Recerca en Sanitat Animal) of the IRTA (Institut de Recerca i Technologies Agroalimentàries) in Catalonia. This international collaboration, initiated thanks to grants awarded by the Ministère des Relations internationales et de la Francophonie - comité mixte Québec-Catalogne, marks a significant step in strengthening the exchange of knowledge and expertise between Quebec and Spain, and more specifically Catalonia.

These new members will bring expertise in swine and avian viral diseases, bacteriology and antimicrobial resistance, food safety, zoonoses, evolution and emerging viral diseases, immune response, vaccine efficacy, metabolism and microbiota, bioinformatics, pathology, molecular epidemiology and other key areas of animal health.
